Minkoff Development Corporation, a third generation, family-owned business founded in 1972 by Leon P. Minkoff, focuses on the development of employment-based light industrial, flex and office properties. The company has developed and built, under the names of various limited partnerships for its own portfolio, approximately one and a half million square feet of space in twenty-two buildings in Montgomery County and Prince George's County, Maryland. These properties are still owned and managed by the principals of MDC, who continue to provide direct "hands-on" control of the various functions of the full service real estate development firm, including:
